Our Mission

In early 1966, it was determined by the Carlstadt Mayor and Council that a definite and immediate program aimed at providing sanitary sewers for the predominantly industrial area located east of Berrys Creek was a necessity. A series of studies encompassing engineering, financing, and other significantly related matters was undertaken by an eight man, bi-partisan sewerage advisory group appointed by the Mayor and Council. The result was the creation of a master plan for the construction of a multi-staged sewerage system.
